LakeRidge Property Enhancement Committee

At the July Lake Ridge BOD meeting the LR Property Enhancement Committee presented their top 3 priority projects to the Board. Two of these projects have been approved for this year and work will begin shortly. The projects approved are as follows:

REPAIR/REPLACE BRIDGES

Jack bridge up and install drop girder with 6x6 support posts set in concrete footings.
Replace 48' of top cap with 2x6 and replace bowed or damaged pickets.

Center Bridge

Remove & replace deck boards
Secure existing 4x4 posts, replace damaged pickets & install new top cap.

The East side bridge will be removed and replaced.

CLEAR & GROOM LAKEFRONT VEGETATION

Clear underbrush including poisonous plants and prickly vines
Remove dead & fallen trees
Trim unsightly and/or dead lower branches Remove all pine saplings
Convert debris into mulch wherever possible or otherwise remove debris
Leave cleared area with undergrowth approximatly 10" high to prevent erosion
